PAS of Indonesia for a 700,000 tons/year single high-speed bar EP project, marking the commencement of their inaugural collaboration. PAS of Indonesia, a prominent steel product trader in the region, specializes in long products and construction steel trade. Upon the completion of the 700,000 tons/year high-speed bar project, it will not only diversify PT. PAS's product portfolio and enhance its market competitiveness but also create nearly 500 local jobs, thereby stimulating regional economic growth.Located in Jakarta, Indonesia's largest city, the project primarily produces rebar with specifications ranging from Φ7.5mm to Φ36.0mm and round steel from Φ19mm to Φ60.5mm. As per the contract, Sinosteel Equipment is responsible for the design, equipment supply, and system commissioning. This collaboration not only represents the first joint venture between the two companies but also marks the debut of Sinosteel Equipment's independently developed high-end rolling equipment in the Indonesian market, showcasing the international competitiveness of Chinese manufacturing in the steel industry.The project employs Sinosteel Equipment's proprietary long product system rolling technology and advanced equipment such as modular mills and high-speed steel delivery systems, significantly enhancing product dimensional accuracy and quality performance.The production line features four rolling mill units, with the finishing mill utilizing the independently developed RVM315 series high-precision modular mill, enabling high-speed and high-precision rolling, thereby elevating the core equipment level of the production line, effectively improving roll utilization, and reducing electricity and roll consumption.The independently developed high-speed steel delivery system boasts a maximum design speed of 50m/s, with a rolling speed of up to 45m/s.The transmission system, automation control system, and secondary control system are all independently developed by the company.In recent years, China has vigorously promoted the transformation and upgrading of the manufacturing industry, placing technological innovation at the core of industrial development and continuously increasing R&D investment in traditional advantageous fields such as steel metallurgy.
