The first Kazakhstan imported ferrochrome China Europe (Asia) train arrives in Shanxi

On the 17th, with the sound of the whistle, a China Europe (Asia) train loaded with 110 containers and about 3000 tons of chromium iron alloy slowly entered the platform line of the warehouse operation area of Taiyuan Iron and Steel Group's procurement center. This is the first China Europe (Asia) return train from Shanxi to Kazakhstan imported ferrochrome.

This train, jointly opened by Huayuan International Land Port Group and Taiyuan Iron and Steel Group, is not only an important part of the implementation of the results of the Second China Central Asia Summit and the economic and trade cooperation between Shanxi and Central Asian countries, but also a practical measure for the deep cooperation between central and local state-owned enterprises to promote logistics cost reduction and efficiency improvement.

This train starts from Zynishk, Kazakhstan, enters from Khorgos Port, Xinjiang, crosses the border between China and Kazakhstan, crosses the Hexi Corridor, and after 13 days or so, it travels about 4900 kilometers to reach the plant area of TISCO Group. By significantly shortening the transportation cycle, it effectively reduces the logistics costs of enterprises and helps TISCO stainless steel industry chain supply raw materials stably and efficiently.

It is reported that this train is an international logistics route developed by Huayuan International Land Port Group and Taiyuan Iron and Steel Group to precisely connect the Central Asian mineral resource rich areas with advanced manufacturing clusters in the province, promote the two-way linkage of "resource input industrial upgrading", and empower the manufacturing industry to reduce costs and increase efficiency through the China Europe (Asia) train. At the same time, it also marks the transition of Shanxi China Europe (Asia) trains from "one-way operation" to "two-way circulation", and the accelerated formation of a diversified international logistics channel system.
